Jason You has degrees in Mineral Processing (BEng, Central South University), Mining (MEng, University of Melbourne) and Metallurgy (MEngSc, Curtin University WASM). Jason previously worked at Curtin University and for the Bungalow iron ore JV between Baogang Group, a Chinese iron & steel company, and Centrex Metals, an Australian mining company.
Jason is actively involved in CM’s bauxite database management, research, modelling and daily analysis. He is also engaged in preparing and publishing CM’s regular publications and mailouts. Jason’s comprehensive understanding and educational background in mining and mineral processing provides a unique set of skills that can generate insights into the industries he specialises in, especially the primary aluminium value chain.
