Yunnan Shenhuo had originally scheduled bringing its 450 ktpy primary aluminium project online immediately after the Chinese New Year Holiday (3 February, 2020), but is now postponing the plan until after 10 February due to quarantined workers.
The original commencement date had already been altered slightly due to issues with equipment installation, electricity supply and electricity prices prior to the Chinese New Year.
