Twenty domestic TiO2 pigment producers including Pangang Titanium, Haifengxin Chemical and CITIC Titanium raised their TiO2 pigment prices by RMB700~1,000/t on the domestic market and USD100~150/t on the export market on 1st December 2020. Following this move, four international producers including Chemours, Kronos, Tronox and Venator announced they would raise their prices by USD100~150/t, marking the eighth collective price increase during 2020.

According industrial commentators, rising raw material prices, tightening supply and robust demand from the export market are working together to drive up TiO2 pigment prices.
