SMM: Domestic refined tin output grew by 1.4% on-month to 12,747 t in August. The moderate increase in output can be attributed to several Yunnan smelters resuming operations and increasing output during August. In addition, Jiangxi smelters were barely affected by the current round of environmental checks, seeing its August output remaining at the same level as that in July.

Domestic tin concentrate supply has been tight and processing fees remain low at present. 14 surveyed smelters forecast September output at 12,300 t and say that total annual output for 2019 will be in decline on-year.
