Monday 15th March: Silkroad Nickel, headquartered in Singapore and with nickel mining business in Sulawesi Indonesia, announced it will supply 2.7 mln t of nickel laterite to China’s Tsingshan Group by end-2022.
The company has signed a contract worth USD 90 mln with Pt Ekasa Yad resources, (a subordinate of Tsingshan) to supply no less than 50 kt of nickel laterite per month from March 2021 to December 2022.
