15th July, MIIT: During the first five months of 2021, China produced 8.61 bln sets of lithium battery, 103.81 mln kVA of lead battery, and 17.2 bln units of primary battery and primary battery sets (excluding button cells), showing an increase of 56%, 32% and 19% y-o-y respectively.
China produced 1.88 bln sets of lithium battery, 20.28 mln kVA of lead battery and 3.43 bln units of primary battery and primary battery sets (excluding button cells), up 29.2%, up 7.2% but a decline of 0.7% y-o-y respectively.
