17th May: Shandong Lianlong Logistics and Philippine Kenisaike reached an agreement regarding nickel laterite exports from the Philippines to Linyi Shandong.
Kenisaike has two nickel laterite mines (CMDC and DINAGAT), in the Philippines, mainly producing nickel laterite of 0.9~1.8 Ni grade. The company has received a quota from the government of the Philippines, allowing them to export 3.6 mln t nickel laterite to China in 2021.
