25th May: The Minister of MEE (the Ministry of Ecological Environment) said that a second round of the second batch of central environmental inspections will be launched this year.
Inspection work will focus on the implementation of major decisions of the State Council regarding protection of the environment, on some outstanding ecological issues raised by the public, and on the implementation of key tasks of pollution prevention and control.
