At the second China International Import Expo in Shanghai, Chalco and its member companies signed commodity purchase agreements worth RMB 19 bln with 14 international suppliers for copper concentrates, bauxite and coal -all raw materials needed for Chalco’s production of copper ingot, alumina and primary aluminium.
Meanwhile, SPIC (State Power Investment Corporation), signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Alufer regarding procurement of Guinean bauxite and signed a MOU with Trafigura regarding alumina imports.
