The Ministry of Mines and Geology of Guinea has reviewed and approved the feasibility study report for a bauxite mining project for Kebo Energy.

Kebo Energy has been granted a prospecting certificate for bauxite deposits located across the borders of Gaoual, Telimele and Boke Prefectures in Boke Region, Guinea. According to the feasibility study, Kebo Energy will develop 10 mtpy bauxite mining capacity and an alumina refinery with 2.6 mtpy capacity, which is scheduled to come online in 2024.
