The local authorities of Jiangxi recently published ‘14th Five Year Plan for Nonferrous Metals Development’. The document states that by end-2025, the total industrial value generated from tungsten, rare earth and other strategic resource industries in Jiangxi will increase to RMB100 bln. Meanwhile, types of new material products will increase significantly, with an improved, more integrated industrial layout. By end-2025, the total output value generated by new materials is to represent more than 30% of the total of nonferrous metals industry, thanks to new achievements in structural change.
