Nanfang Tin Mining Co., Ltd. resumed tin concentrate production at the end of April 2019. The company has been designed to have a 4 kt (in tin metal) of tin concentrate production capacity at minimum 60% grade. The previous 3-month suspension curbed tin concentrate output (at minimum 60% grade) of 350 t (in tin metal).

The company owns a tin mine with raw ore grades at 0.6% and a dressing plant with a dressing capacity of 2 kt/day. Raw ore will be dressed and treated to tin concentrates at grade 60% minimum. The company’s tin concentrate output is expected at 120 t (in tin metal) in May. Nanfang tin presently has no inventory and is chiefly targeting its output to local downstream tin smelters in Hunan.
