19th May 2020: The Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Henan published ‘Emission Standards of Aluminum Industry Pollutants’ (DB41/1952-2020). Henan will apply a more stringent industry standard than the National Standard from 1 June 2020.
The standard will come to effect on 1 June 2020 for new aluminum producers including bauxite mines, alumina refineries and aluminium smelters and will be applicable to existing producers from 1st January 2021.
