Local Guinean media company, Guinee 114 reports that Guinea is to increase overall electricity revenue by lifting prices in different sectors, with a maximum increase of 15%. In order to maintain industrial competitiveness, a 5% increase will be applicable to industrial electricity prices, however the date of implementation has as yet to be announced.
