Gansu Dongxing Aluminum has a total 1.7 mtpy primary aluminium capacity at its Jiayuguan smelter (1.35 mtpy) and Longxi smelter (350 ktpy). The two smelters have five aluminium production lines comprising 1,400 sets of electrolytic cells of 240 kA, 400 kA and 500 kA respectively. The company has a complete industrial chain including power generation, casting, carbon anode production, purification and transportation. Its main products are aluminium ingot and liquid aluminium.
