China Commodity Market Place
The domestic tungsten prices have been on the decline during November 2021. As of end-November, mainstream wolframite concentrate (65% WO3) prices had dropped to RMB105,000~107,000/t; scheelite concentrate (65% WO3) prices RMB104,000~106,000/t and tungsten concentrate (55% WO3) at RMB102,000~105,000/t.
Following sliding prices for tungsten concentrates, caustic soda and other raw materials, mainstream domestic APT quotations fell rapidly to RMB163,000~164,000/t during November. Meanwhile, tolling charges for APT have returned to the typical level of RMB13,000/t. Declining long-term contact APT prices of large producers have been weighing on APT spot transactions prices as well, forcing prices down to RMB162,000~163,000/t by cash on the spot market.
