The domestic tungsten market remained flat this week with few transactions, concentrate vendors continued to hold firm on prices and downstream smelters were cautious about restocking. Mainstream wolframite concentrates (65% WO3) were quoted at RMB112,000~114,000/t, scheelite concentrates (65% WO3) at RMB111,000~113,000/t and concentrate concentrates (50~55% WO3) at RMB109,000~111,000/t.
The domestic APT market has been under pressure, with mainstream quotations falling to RMB173,000~175,000/t. High-price level transactions were sparse this week.
