Domestic TiO2 pigment prices continued to rise after the May Day holiday (1~8 May). On 9th May, 19 domestic TiO2 pigment producers including; Anhui Anadab, Hengtong, Fumin Longteng, Zhenjiang Titanium, Shandong Dongjia, Jinpu Titanium, CNNC, Shandong Dao’en announced that they would increase their prices by RMB1,000/t on the domestic market. Furthermore, some southwestern producers raised their domestic prices by RMB800~1,000/t without any announcement. This is the fifth price increase for TiO2 pigment on the domestic market since the beginning of 2021.
