12th January 2022: Mainstream primary magnesium (90% grade) is being quoted at RMB 47,000~48,000/t, down by RMB 1,500/t from Tuesday. Industry commentators forecast domestic magnesium prices to continue hovering around this level before the Chinese New Year holiday (1 February 2022) amid weaker price prospects.
