IMOA (International Molybdenum Association): Global consumption of molybdenum was on the rise in 2022, while total global production was in decline.
In 2022, China remains the world’s largest producer and consumer of molybdenum with 112.8 kt of production and 122 kt of consumption, up by 12% and 9% y-o-y respectively.
