China magnesium exports have slowed recently, amid lackluster overseas demand. However, China magnesium export prices have risen rapidly by USD 200/t to USD 5,750~5,850/t FOB China with taxes over the past few days.
Industry commentators forecast magnesium export prices to be stable at the current level over the short-term, backed by Chinese smelters’ strong will to prop prices.
