China produced a total of 102 GWh of lithium batteries during the first two months of 2023, up by 24% y-o-y. China’s production of energy storage batteries exceeded 15 GWh, and the installed capacity of NEVs power batteries was about 38 GWh in January and February combined.
The total export value of lithium batteries from China reached RMB 70.6 bln during the first two months of 2023, describing a steady upward trend.
