Boosted by soaring demand from stainless steel producers in both China and Indonesia, NPI supply has been tight since Q2 2021. Indonesian’s NPI production is expected to grow by 32% y-o-y to 1.16 mln t (in Ni metal) in 2022, and global NPI production is expected to increase by 18.2% y-o-y.
